2005 Relay For Life & The American Cancer Society
"On behalf of The American Cancer Society staff and volunteers, I would like to thank you for your generous support of the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life of Virginia Beach. Your contribution to the event was greatly appreciated and we sincerely thank you for your help in making this years fundraising event a success!

The Relay For Life of Virginia Beach, held on May 13th and 14th at NAS Oceana Main Gate Park, was a great success due, in large part, to your contribution. Over 350 cancer survivors participated and three thousand walkers took to the track in a show of support for finding a cure. To date, our total is fast approaching the $1.2 million mark, with those funds going towards funding cancer research, patient services, advocacy, and educational programs.

An Occasion for the Arts (AOFTA)
"An Occasion for the Arts (AOFTA) in Williamsburg is celebrating our 36th year, and we are, with the help of Affordable & Luxury Tents, attracting more visitors to the show every year. Last year our one day event attracted 40,000. AOFTA is a non-profit fund raising event that is run by a dedicated group of volunteers. Planning for an event of that size is a full time job for our volunteer production committee. We rely on Affordable & Luxury Tents to create the infrastructure for the event. That includes advising us on layout, safety, crowd control measures, traffic flow, and aesthetics, and all the while helping us live within our budget. The crews arrive on time, they work through the night to meet our timeline, and with their help, the show "magically" appears and then, even more "migically," disappears."
